Morrocroft Estates
Originally part of the Morrocroft plantation owned by Mr Cameron Morrison, former governor and congressman. SouthPark Mall was originally built in 1971 on cow pastures at the city's edge. Today this area has become one of the most desired locations in Charlotte. In recent years, the Mall has undergone renovations and expansions. The suburbs have surrounded the mall and businesses have joined the area. With its larger lots and houses, Morrocroft is in the heart of South Charlotte. Highly manicured lawns, wide sidewalks and nearby conveniences have make locations like this hard to find.
