Mint Hill
Mint Hill, to the east of Charlotte, is a haven for families looking for upscale residential homes. Mint Hill has been mostly a mid range price housing community. However, in the past year or two Mint Hill has begun to attract the higher price range Builder, including custom Builders. The beltway, I-485 circles the outer edges of this town. Excellent Golf Courses including The Divide, Olde Sycamore and Emerald Lake are within 2 miles of the city. The traffic is not as intense as other parts of Mecklenburg County and Mint Hill still feels a little like part of the country. New shopping centers arise as new subdivisions open. The town retains a largely rural feel, and home sites have large lots--many of which lie in golf course communities.

Location

Secluded but accessible, Mint Hill is only a short drive from downtown Charlotte. Interstate 485 cuts through it Easternmost edges, and a variety of state highways serve the area. Neighboring communities that share the picturesque farmland and forests that surround Mint Hill include Matthews, Indian Trail and Hemby Bridge.
