IndianTrail
Most people know Indian Trail for the trading route which was
established in the seventeenth century. This path ran between
Petersburg, Va. to the Waxhaw Indian settlement; thus, the name
"Indian Trail."
The town of Indian Trail has been one of the fastest growing
over the past few years. There are a number of new communities
that have been built and that are currently being developed. Arbor
Glen, Braefield and Traewyck are all communities with entry-level
homes that have been built in the past few years. Bonterra, Arbor
Glen, Brandon Oaks, Country Woods and Lake Park offer mid-range
homes from the Upper $100’s. A number of custom homebuilders have
also made this area popular offering homes from the $300's and
up.
Currently you will find hundreds of homes under construction.
Indian Trail recently (January 2005) issued an 18 month moratorium
on new subdivisions to cope with the dramatic growth it has experienced.
