To the south of the Uptown lies Eastover, a community originally
developed on two dairy farms. Eastover was Charlotte's first suburb
with driveways for motorcars. Today you will find stately homes
lining the streets and a tall canopy of trees above. The area
features the Mint Museum of Art, Queens College and has great
access to many restaurants and shops.
Location
The Eastover neighborhood extends Southeast from the Uptown area.
This area is within walking distance to: Queens College, Freedom
Park and a number of restaurants and businesses along Providence
