Bradfield Farms

Bradfield Farms lies approximately 17 miles east of uptown Charlotte in an unincorporated part of Mecklenburg County adjoining Cabarrus County. The main entrance to this neighborhood is on Reedy Creek Road where it crosses Harrisburg Road, next to the I-485 interchange. Houses were built between 1989 and 1999 - primarily by Centex Homes, but Torrey Homes and Fortis Homes each built a section as well. New and resale houses are available in the $110,000 - $230,000 range. The community features pools, tennis courts, walking trails and playgrounds. Currently the City of Charlotte is looking to annex this community, however it must be able to provide city services and that may take some time. The community consists of nearly 1000 single family homes.

Location

Bradfield Farms is conveniently located in northeast Charlotte along I-485, just inside the Mecklenburg County Line. The neighborhood is served by Harrisburg Road, Reedy Creek Road and and I-485. The neighborhood is bordered by James Boyce Park to the South, and provides access to the McAlpine Greenway.

Numerous retailers and restaurants along Albemarle Road and a new shopping center at the community entrance bring convenience to this community. The Galleria Shopping Center is just a mile away.
